DESCRIPTION

Victoria Lodge is a purpose built home, providing nursing and social care in a selection of differing rooms.

All of our rooms are for single occupancy and all are en-suite.

Victoria Lodge is situated in the Grangetown area of Sunderland, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the A19. Specifically, the Bridges Shopping Centre is only 1.5 miles away.

This home is rated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection as providing ''good'' outcomes for its residents.

THE CARE

Victoria Lodge is tastefully furnished and has TV lounges and quiet sitting rooms. Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the others at meal times, are also an important feature of the home. The home also has a safe and secure patio and garden.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirements.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.

DIRECTIONS

Leave the A19 for the A1018 to Sunderland Town Centre, through Ryhope Village to Grangetown. Turn left at the main roundabout onto Leechmere Road. Go past the superstore on the left and Victoria Lodge is on your left on Leechmere Road.
