DESCRIPTION

Hunter Hall is a purpose built care home, providing nursing and social care in a selection of differing rooms.

All of our rooms are for single occupancy and all are en-suite.

Hunter Hall is situated in the Howden suburb of Wallsend, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the A19. Specifically, the Forum shopping centre is only a mile away.

THE CARE

Hunter Hall has TV lounges and a quiet sitting room (with both smoking and non-smoking areas). Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times, are also an important feature of the home. In addition, Hunter Hall has a beautiful sensory garden.

Our chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirements.

A varied programme of activities also takes place within the Home for the benefit of residents.

DIRECTIONS

From Newcastle (Coast Road A1058)
Leave Coast Road at North Tyneside College. Turn right onto Churchill Street and continue the full length to the traffic lights. Turn left, then first right into Kent Avenue. The home is on the right.

From the South (A19)
After travelling through the tunnel, turn left onto the A108. Leave at the first slip road bearing left onto A699. Continue for approximately half a mile, turn left into Kent Avenue after the GP surgery.
