DESCRIPTION

Rosemount is a purpose built home, providing nursing and social care in a selection of differing rooms.

All of our rooms are for single occupancy, and all have private toilet facilities.

Rosemount is situated in the West Monkseaton area of Whitley Bay, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the metro system.

This home is rated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection as providing ''good'' outcomes for its residents.

THE CARE

Rosemount is tastefully decorated and features TV lounges and a conservatory providing a quiet sitting area. We also have a reminiscence room. Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times are also an important feature of the home.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirements.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.

DIRECTIONS

From Newcastle take the A167(M) and then follow A1058 Coast Road towards Tynemouth. Turn left onto A19 north and then take the A186 until the roundabout with A192, where you should turn right. Continue on A192 for half a mile and turn left at 2nd mini roundabout. At the T-junction turn right and then turn 2nd right into Sunningdale.
