Four Seasons Health Care is the leading independent healthcare provider in the UK. They own and operate over 500 care homes, nursing homes and specialist centres across the UK, with approximately 306 homes in England and the Channel Islands, 62 in Scotland, 74 in Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man and 7 in Wales. They employ over 30,000 people and care for over 25,000 people in their care.

Each of the care homes or nursing homes run by Four Seasons Health Care is unique and offers high standards of service and care for long term and short term residents. Every home seeks to provide a safe, homely and warm environment for its residents. Almost nine out of every ten of their homes are rated as ‘good’ or ‘excellent’ by the industry regulater The Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Our home is an attractive Home where we provide a high standard of care 24 hours a day. Our Residents have varying needs from specialist Nursing support to general assistance with everyday living. Some stay with us on a permanent basis whilst others stay for short periods of time.

We offer Nursing care for those with Dementia and we specialise is providing care for older people with Mental Health issues. We also offer Respite care to give home carers a much needed break.

Many of our private bedrooms have en-suite facilities and all are decorated to a high standard.

Our Residents can pursue their hobbies in our communal and quiet lounges. They watch television or perhaps listen to music or have some reading time. They enjoy our landscaped garden with a patio and seating areas. We also have a large activities room. All of these areas are used for relaxing, socialising and are great places to invite friends and families when they visit.

THE CARE

Our Activities programme is tailored to our Residents’ preferences and includes arts and crafts, quizzes and gardening. Our mini bus is used for regular trips to restaurants, the Sea Life Centre, Botanical Gardens and the Jewellery Quarter. We also provide a regular church service which is open to any Residents and their families and friends who wish to attend.

We support the UK National Dementia Strategy which ensures that key life skills are maintained, building purpose and providing nurture for Residents with Dementia. We organise group and individual activities but in our experience it is the one-to-one sessions that our Residents find most calming and rewarding.

We have highly nutritious and varied menus and cater for all dietary and cultural needs. All of our food is prepared using fresh ingredients every day in our kitchens. Our dining rooms are warm and welcoming. The tables are laid with fresh flowers and linen and our menus are displayed to show the choices available. Snacks, fresh fruit and refreshments are provided 24 hours a day.

Residents can choose to have their meals in their own room or in our dining room depending on how they feel. We encourage friends and family to join us for meals or afternoon tea anytime.
