DESCRIPTION

Ivyhouse is a purpose built care home, providing nursing and social care in a selection of differing rooms.

All of our rooms are for single occupancy and all offer private toilet facilities.

Ivyhouse is situated in West Heath, south of Birmingham, in a residential area, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the M42 motorway.

This home is rated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection as providing ''good'' outcomes for its residents.

THE CARE

Ivyhouse has TV lounges and a quiet sitting room. Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the comapny of others at meal times are also an important feature of the home. Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available. The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirements. A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.

DIRECTIONS

From Birmingham
Take the A441 through Stirchley and Kings Norton. Turn right at the roundabout in West Heath. Take the 1st right into Ivyhouse Road, follow the road round, we are on the right.

From the M42
Leave at junction 2, take the A441 for Birmingham. Go straight over the 1st two roundabouts and left at the 3rd. Continue as above.
