DESCRIPTION

Our home is a specially converted Victorian Home where we provide a high standard of care 24 hours a day. Our Residents have varying needs from specialist Nursing support to general assistance with everyday living. Some stay with us on a permanent basis whilst others stay for short periods of time.

We offer Nursing care for older people as well as Respite care to give home carers a much needed break.

We are very proud of our homely and welcoming atmosphere. We would be delighted to show you around so that you can experience it for yourself. There is so much more that we can tell you than we can include on these pages so please arrange to pop in for a chat.

Our Residents can pursue their hobbies in our communal and quiet lounges. They watch television or perhaps listen to music or have some reading time. They also enjoy our landscaped garden with raised flower beds and a patio seating area. All of these areas are used for relaxing, socialising and are great places to invite friends and families when they visit.

THE CARE

We pride ourselves on our range of activities to suit all tastes. Our Activities Co-ordinator meets every new Resident to discuss their social interests. There’s always something going on from quizzes to hand massages and music therapy to gardening.

We invite professional entertainers to visit regularly and we are also treated to performances by the local school children and the wider community.

Mealtimes are an enjoyable and sociable part of the day. Each one of our dining areas has tables laid with fresh flowers and linen and our menus are displayed to show the choices available. Snacks, fresh fruit and refreshments are provided 24 hours a day.

We have themed meals including food and wine from around the world. We also enjoy catering for special celebrations for our Residents such as birthdays and anniversaries.
