Four Seasons Health Care provides care homes with personal care, care homes with nursing care, PEARL dementia care, rehabilitation and short-term respite care and palliative care.

Welcome to Fernwood Court Care Home, our spacious purpose built Home where we provide a high standard of care 24 hours a day. Our Residents have varying needs from specialist support and help with everyday living to those who just need a helping hand to retain some independence. Some stay with us on a permanent basis whilst others stay for short periods of time.

We offer Residential care for those with Dementia and specialist care for younger people with Enduring Mental health issues. We also offer Respite care to give home carers a much needed break.

All of our private bedrooms have en-suite facilities and are decorated to a high standard.

Our Residents can pursue their hobbies in our communal and quiet lounges. They watch television or perhaps listen to music or have some reading time. They also enjoy our landscaped garden with a patio seating area and flowerbeds that many Residents enjoy tending. All of these areas are used for relaxing, socialising and are great places to invite friends and families when they visit.

THE CARE

We pride ourselves on our range of activities to suit all tastes. Our Activities Co-ordinator meets every new Resident to discuss their social interests. There’s always something going on from quizzes to card games and music therapy to exercise classes.

We invite professional entertainers to visit regularly and we love celebrating birthdays and other seasonal events at Fernwood Court Care Home.

We support the UK National Dementia Strategy which ensures that key life skills are maintained, building purpose and providing nurture for Residents with Dementia. We organise group and individual activities but in our experience it is the one-to-one sessions that our Residents find most calming and rewarding.

Mealtimes are an enjoyable and sociable part of the day. Each one of our dining areas has tables laid with fresh flowers and linen and our menus are displayed to show the choices available. Snacks, fresh fruit and refreshments are provided 24 hours a day.

We have highly nutritious and varied menus and cater for all dietary and cultural needs. All of our food is prepared using fresh ingredients every day in our kitchens.
