Acacia Court is a very friendly place where we aim to make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible. We have a lot to offer you, such as excellent accommodation, lovely home-cooked food and all the help you need to make your life here pleasant and comfortable.
We have 41 beautiful single bedrooms, all decorated and equipped to the highest standard. Each room has an en-suite bathroom (or shower), television, telephone, electronic call system, and tea and coffee making facilities. We also have rooms with their own dining/patio area.
You can be as private or as sociable as you like. Our residents can relax in one of the comfortable lounges or participate in any of the arranged outings and in-house entertainment.

Your care team ensures that staffing levels reflect the needs of residents in our care as determined by the Residential Care Forum. We ensure that we have the appropriate number and skill mix of staff throughout the day and night, including weekends and public holidays. We also ensure our care staff are qualified or registered with NVQ Level 2 or above in Health & Social Care.

Meridian Healthcare typically achieves between 70% and 80% NVQ attainment across the group, well above the 50% required standard. Staff in other roles are appropriately trained for their area of expertise.

We know that our residents benefit from having a well-trained and developed team. We endeavour to provide a supportive and encouraging environment for staff, which enables them to give their very best at every level within the care centre.

New staff receive a thorough induction programme and an ongoing plan of vocational and course-based training. We also have qualified assessors at our care centre to support staff through their NVQ training.

Our training programme includes many non-statutory courses and remains focused on quality care provision. We have introduced courses for Safeguarding Adults, Infection Control and specialist development programmes for Senior Care Staff.

Our goal is to provide you with the best possible care in line with our high corporate standards. We look forward to welcoming you to our care centre.
