Set in four acres of magnificent grounds and woodlands, Swiss Cottage is a purpose-built residential and nursing home on the outskirts of Leighton Buzzard. Our home is designed specifically for the needs of our elderly residents, and we have a very caring team who work hard to make everyone feel at home. Whether you are looking for residential, nursing care, specialist dementia care, respite or end of life care, Swiss Cottage Care Home has the facilities and expertise to meet your needs. We have a range of different rooms, and the majority have en suite facilities. There are several bathrooms with assisted baths and sit in showers on each floor of the home. Our lounge diner has beautiful views of the garden and is well used in all seasons. We have a kitchenette for visitors to use. Residents enjoy watching the wildlife that visit our garden. The keen gardeners amongst our residents make use of our greenhouse and potting shed. Our gazebo offers residents shade in the summer months. Swiss Cottage Care Home is easily reached from the M1 and A5 motorways and there is parking for visitors. Leighton Buzzard train station is a short distance away.

Our Activities Co-ordinators organise both group and one-to-one activities. All activities are completely optional. For those who wish to join in, some of the activities available at Swiss Cottage include: Group and one-to-one activities; Arts and crafts; Animal therapy; Cream tea afternoons; Monthly professional entertainment; Monthly trips in the minibus to local places of interest We celebrate special occasions, such as birthdays and anniversaries, and family and friends are welcome to join their relatives / friends for meals. All cultural and dietary needs can be catered for.
