Yohden Care Complex provides nursing, residential and respite care for the frail and elderly. We have a separate residential and respite unit for people with dementia and another 10 beded unit for physical and learning disabilities. Yohden Care Complex is in its own grounds with landscaped gardens, in a quiet residential area of Heselden on the outskirts of the coastal community of Blackhall, which is a villiage close to Peterlee. It has easy access to the A19. The nearest railway station is Hartlepool Station. Regular bus services stop near to the care centre.

Our focus is our service users and their families. Our aim is to run each of our residential and nursing homes as a family unit - to create a “homely” feeling that our service users can feel safe and comfortable in. Our holistic approach to care emphasises the importance of social interaction and activities. Our people are very experienced at listening, understanding and responding to the needs of service users. Our people are central to the service we provide in our residential and nursing homes. We know the best care comes from a motivated and knowledgeable team. We are totally committed to giving our people the training and opportunities they need to help them deliver the standards of care and nursing we demand. We set ourselves high standards in every aspect of the care we give service users in our nursing homes. We never forget our service users are individuals and we treat them with respect and dignity at all times. What ever the type of care you or your loved one requires, you can rest assured, we will do our best for you.
