Gilmerton is situated in the Moredun area of Edinburgh, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the main A772. Specifically, the Cameron Toll shopping centre is only 1 mile away.

Gilmerton has a choice of smoking and non smoking lounges. Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times are also an important feature of the home. Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available. The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirements. A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.

From Edinburgh Take the Gilmerton junction from the City Bypass. Follow the A772 Gilmerton Road until you reach the Safeway Store then take the 2nd right into Moredunvale Road. Our entrance is the 2nd on the left.
