Southfield Court is a purpose built home, providing nursing and social care for the frail elderly and the mentally infirm elderly, in a selection of differing rooms. Our rooms are for single occupancy and all offer en-suite facilities. Southfield Court is situated in the village of Almondbury, on the outskirts of Huddersfield, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the M62 motorway. Huddersfield town centre is only two miles away. This home is rated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection as providing ''good'' outcomes for its residents.

Southfield Court is tastefully decorated and features TV lounges and quiet sitting rooms, all overlooking the private gardens. Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times, are also an important feature of the home. Our chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available. The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirement. A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home and we have a highly skilled activities therapist.

Take junction 23 exit off the M62 and follow the signs for Huddersfield town centre. Take the ring road around the town, exiting onto the A642 Wakefield Road and following the signs for Almondbury. Turn right onto Somerset Road and at the top of the hill turn left onto Southfield Road. The home is approximately 300 metres on the right hand side.
