The home is purpose built with the needs of the residents and their carers in mind. There is a large welcoming reception area, wide corridors for ease of access, and specially designed areas which include smaller sitting rooms to give a homely atmosphere.
The home offers 87 beds within three separate units. The Coppice is a 48 bed unit on the 1st floor of the building. This unit provides full nursing care to elderly residents who are no longer able to live totally independently and need regular medical attention. Woodgreen and The Annexe are two units on the ground floor providing care for those suffering from Alzheimer''s Disease or dementia. Both units are designed in family groups to offer extra security as well as a homely environment. All bedrooms are single en-suite. There are four suites with adjoining rooms for couples.

Southern Cross Healthcare provides care homes and nursing homes for the elderly with a friendly and welcoming environment.

Our focus is our service users and their families. Our aim is to run each of our residential and nursing homes as a family unit - to create a “homely” feeling that our service users can feel safe and comfortable in.

Our holistic approach to care emphasises the importance of social interaction and activities. Our people are very experienced at listening, understanding and responding to the needs of service users.

Our people are central to the service we provide in our residential and nursing homes. We know the best care comes from a motivated and knowledgeable team. We are totally committed to giving our people the training and opportunities they need to help them deliver the standards of care and nursing we demand.

We set ourselves high standards in every aspect of the care we give service users in our nursing homes. We never forget our service users are individuals and we treat them with respect and dignity at all times.

What ever the type of care you or your loved one requires, you can rest assured, we will do our best for you.
