DESCRIPTION

Millbrow is a purpose built care home, providing nursing and social care in a selection of differing rooms.

Many of our rooms are for single occupancy, although several are large enough for sharing companions. The majority are en-suite.

The home is situated in the Millbrow suburb of Widnes, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the M62 motorway. Specifically, the town centre is only a mile away.

This home is rated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection as providing ''good'' outcomes for its residents.

THE CARE

Millbrow has TV lounges and a quiet sitting room (with both smoking and non-smoking areas). Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times, are also an important feature of the home.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirements.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.
