CQC Star Rating

Springfields is a purpose built care home providing nursing and social care for older people who are physically frail and older people who have mental health needs such as Alzheimer''s disease.

Most of our rooms are for single occupancy, although several are large enough for sharing companions. All are en-suite.

Springfields is situated in the Elburton area of Plymouth, within easy reach of shops, other amenities and public transport. The city centre is a short distance away.

This home is rated by the Commission for Social Care Inspection as providing ''good'' outcomes for its residents.

Springfields has TV lounges and a quiet sitting room (with both smoking and non-smoking areas). Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times, which are an important feature of the home.

An enclosed garden with fish pond and many flowers and shrubs can easily be accessed by residents..

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist and a qualified Chiropodist.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.

Our chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce.
