DESCRIPTION

Carrickstone House is a purpose built care home and hospital, providing nursing care in a selection of differing rooms.

Two thirds of the beds are contracted by Lanarkshire Health Board and one third are the nursing home''s.

All of our rooms are for single occupancy with private toilet facilities. Assisted bathrooms are available.

There is also a day hospital providing care for the frail elderly from 9am - 5pm.

Carrickstone House is situated at Carrickstone roundabout, within easy reach of the town, other amenities and public transport.

THE CARE

Carrickstone House has TV lounges and a quiet sitting room (with both smoking and non smoking areas). Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times are also an important feature of the home.

Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.

The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist and additional facilities are provided by dentists and opticians.

A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of the residents.

From Glasgow

Take the M9 onto the A80, follow Stirling signs, taking the Dullatur turn off, and then follow signs for Carrickstone.
