Monkscroft Care Centre

Monkscroft Care Centre provides nursing and specialist dementia care for up to 80 residents.  It is a modern facility which opened in 2012.

The home, located in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, is operated by The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT). OSJCT is a leading not for profit charity which provides care for older people in over 70 care homes and extra care schemes.

Monkscroft has been carefully decorated and furnished.  There is a hair dressing salon, a residents' shop and a small cinema.  Themed areas within the dementia unit provide opportunities for residents to engage and interact with their environment as well as visitors.  These include an indoor 'garden' area and a music room.
