Southway is a modern, purpose-built home in a residential area of Bedford. It is conveniently located on a bus route, with shops nearby.

The care we offer
Southway offers the excellent quality of care you’d expect from a Bupa home. We provide residential dementia care, convalescence, palliative care and respite. We employ dedicated, registered nurses and highly trained care assistants, to provide 24-hour care and support in a professional and respectful manner.

This home comprises five small, self-contained living areas. These have been specially designed and equipped to offer residential dementia care. There is a pretty garden and patio area, which are safe and secure for all residents to enjoy. Southway is managed on behalf of the local authority. We welcome residents funded by the local authority, as well as enquiries from private individuals and NHS continuing care.

Home life
All bedrooms are single and well furnished. Each of the five houses has a spacious lounge, a dining area and a small kitchenette. These are social areas where the residents relax, watch television, entertain guests or simply spend some quiet time. On sunny days, residents can sit on the patio and enjoy the delightful gardens with its fish pond.
