At Wellington House we provide support for ten adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities, mental health needs and associated complex behaviours.

Individuals living at Wellington House are supported with a personalised care package and benefit from Person Centred Care Plans and Positive Behavioural Support Plans which enable them to receive consistent support. Within this service each individual is encouraged to devise and engage in a weekly programme of activities to include opportunities for education, leisure, social and fun activities alongside further development of independent living skills such as budget management, cooking, travelling independently and health and safety within the home.

The long term aim for such programmes is for individuals to move into more independent homes or supported living if they choose to.

Wellington House is situated in a residential area in Walmer. It is close to local amenities with good access to public transport into the town centre.
