Overview of Service

Conquest Lodge is a community resource providing assessment and support for 19 adults living with either a primary Learning Disability diagnosis and possible complex conditions or complex Mental Health support needs. Some of our Service Users also have communication difficulties or present behaviours that challenge, as well as a range of other disabilities such as Epilepsy or Down’s syndrome. Some of our Mental Health service users have children and do voluntary work but may self harm and have complex personality disorders, depression, bi-polar etc that they need support with.

The service offers 24/7 specialist residential support and is committed to providing just enough support to empower and encourage individuals to develop the skills they need to live as independently as possible and achieve positive outcomes for all. The service is also supported by a quality assurance team including a specialist Learning Disability Advisor whose aim is to empower Service Users to take control of their lives, and where possible, work towards a level of independence which fits with their skills, confidence and aspirations.
