Skell Lodge is located on a private road on the outskirts of Ripon, a short distance from the city centre, the famous Ripon Cathedral and Ripon Racecourse. The large detached property can accommodates up to 23 elderly people. There is a variety of single and double bedrooms. All are individually decorated, and most have ensuite facilities. The two-storey home has a sociable atmosphere, especially in the grand sitting room, which has a marble fireplace and views over the garden. Residents enjoy freshly prepared meals in the home''s large dining room. There is also an on-site hairdressing salon. The lovingly restored Victorian residence has high ceilings and distinctive period details which give the home its unique character. Skell Lodge is within walking distance of the local shops, library, doctors'' surgery and pharmacy. It is also close to local bus and train stations.
