Wey House is a well established specialist nursing service set within beautiful Somerset countryside, ten minutes from the county town of Taunton.

The focus at Wey House is to offer:

Care and rehabilitation to individuals who have an acquired brain injury or have suffered a stroke

Ongoing care for those with progressive neurological conditions including Huntington’s disease, Picks disease and Parkinson’s disease

Care for people with dementia

Post operative or palliative care

Our staff have a combination of clinical knowledge, compassion, patience and understanding and they undergo specialist training to help support and understand the specific challenges conditions can present.

Many of our residents have an illness or disability that requires frequent and often complex nursing attention. Wey House offers:

A full team of registered nurses

Weekly in house GP clinic

Full time physiotherapist and trained assistant

Full time occupational therapist

On site hydrotherapy suite
