Based in the vibrant Kentish town of Erith, Meyer House Care Centre is ideally placed close to the bustle of London but also close to the tranquility of Kent. Excellent road and rail connections make visiting easy and convenient.

Meyer House Care Centre is a refurbished two-storey building consisting of 28 single rooms, all of which are light and airy and have en-suite facilities. These rooms are designed to meet the needs of both Residential frail elderly and those whose needs require Nursing.

The dining room is a light, spacious communal area which is both comfortable and homely. Residents are served at the table with fresh, home-cooked meals of their choice from a menu which reflects the resident’s likes and dislikes. Meals may also be eaten in the resident’s own room if they prefer.

Our Activities Co-ordinator encourages residents to participate and pursue their hobbies and interests and trips are organised. Entertainment is organised within the Home to which relatives and friends are invited to share the fun and time with their family.

The conservatory is a place to enjoy the passing seasons in comfort and warmth, somewhere to quietly read, play cards with a friend, have a chat over a cup of tea or go outside and pot and plant in the raised flower beds, nurture tomatoes to grow or just sit back and watch!

Our philosophy at Meyer House is to provide the best person-centred care and to help us achieve this, all our staff team are offered training and development opportunities as part of our evolving quality assurance programme.
