Pelham Lodge is situated on Clifton Road in Ruddington, a peaceful area of Nottinghamshire which is only a short distance away from the hustle and bustle of the main city centre and all it has to offer. The service provides support for nine people with a learning disability, who may exhibit behaviours that challenge.

Clifton Road itself is comprised of large detached properties that back onto farmland, creating a tranquil setting.

The area surrounding Pelham Lodge has an abundance of facilities which are all within walking distance. These include health services, a variety of local shops, places of worship, a fully equipped sports centre and a library.

Pelham Lodge has its own vehicle to ensure that everyone can take full advantage of all that Nottinghamshire has to offer. There are also regular buses into Nottingham and the surrounding areas, with a bus stop right outside the home.

Everyone is encouraged to experience a wide range of activities with full support, such as trips to the cinema, the bowling alley, local public houses and restaurants, the theatre and the Nottingham ice arena for skating and concerts.There are also courses available at local colleges. Holidays are also arranged.

The main house consists of seven bedrooms, two of which are situated on the ground floor and five on the first floor. There are also two self contained flats adjoining the main house; these offer a more private and independent lifestyle whilst still providing 24 hour support.

There is a large dining room with french doors opening up onto the rear patio area. We have a spacious, newly fitted kitchen which boasts an open plan design, allowing everyone to participate in food preparation if they wish. We have a large lounge, an activity room, a shower room on the ground floor and a bathroom on the first floor.

There is an extensive, well maintained garden to the rear of the house, which includes a patio area.
