At 198 Rossendale Road we provide high quality support to enable thirteen individuals with an acquired brain injury to develop their cognitive and practical skills and build independence.

An important part of the support we give is assisting people to make the most of facilities available to them locally. 198 Rossendale Road is located in Burnley, which has a range of education and leisure facilities.

Most people come to us following an intensive period of rehabilitation. Our staff spend time with eacch person at their previous placements, to make transition as smooth as possible.

We have a proven track record in helping people to move forward and achieve the lifestyle they want. The service has seven bedrooms with en-suite facilities and six flats.

In addition to our team of highly trained staff, we employ therapists who devise, implement and regularly review therapy programmes. These specialists also support the staff team to use the strategies they have devised.

There are a number of shared areas in the service so that everyone can choose their own space and how to spend their time.

There is also a large enclosed garden with a large patio. People can choose to help maintain the garden as part of their daily living skills development.
