All residents have their own spacious bedroom with en-suite facilities and are invited to bring their own small items of furniture, ornaments, pictures, photographs and special mementos to make them feel at home. Residents are of varying ages and come from different walks of life, each with their own interests, hobbies, likes and dislikes. Queen Elizabeth Park's Activities Co-ordinator ensures that there is always something going on. Residents can choose to take part in keep fit classes, quiz nights and bridge evenings or enjoy their talking newspapers and the classical music club. Others, love to be entertained by their musical matinee, poetry readings, exercise sessions, film projections, adventurous outings and entertainment groups. Alternatively, for those who prefer, it is always possible to find seclusion and a quiet corner in which to read a book from their well-stocked library, listen to music or simply relax in the garden.
