Willowdene is located in its own grounds, between Sedgefield and Fishburn in Teeside. The home can accommodate up to 48 elderly people. Most of the spacious single bedrooms have ensuite facilities. The modern lounge and dining room on the ground floor feature stunning views of the gardens, and also provide access to a large conservatory and patio area. A second dining room and informal seating area are located on the first floor. The home also benefits from an on-site hairdressing salon. There are frequent buses to local villages and nearby towns and cities, including Durham and Sunderland. Conveniently, a bus stop is located just outside of the home. Willowdene provides residential/personal and respite care. It also has a dedicated dementia unit called the Maple Suite.
