Supporting You in East Anglia is registered with the Care Quality Commission as a domiciliary service providing support to people with a learning disability in the East Anglia area.

    Overview of Service

We offer a person centred, flexible and responsive service to the people that we support. We have a committed and well trained staff team, who work together to ensure that we provide, consistency, continuity and quality support, which helps people develop and grow to achieve measurable outcomes.

We support people to live in their own homes, to be independent, to do new things and keep safe at the same time. We support people to make real choices in life and we respect each individual as a person. We make sure people are involved in decisions about the support we give.

Following a care needs/risk assessment we will agree a plan with you which can offer support with; personal care, taking medication, shopping, managing money, paying bills, cooking, maintaining your home, learning new skills and getting more confident, joining things in the community, having a social life and getting out and about. We can provide 24 hour support in your home, if you are assessed as needing this.

We currently work with approximately 18 people living in the community, either with families or independently. We provide support to people who are funded directly by the Local Authority, have a direct payment or individual budget and some people buy in support privately.

We ensure that the support programmes focus on giving people real choice about what they want to do with their lives and how they want to do it and in a way which promotes inclusion, participation and presence.

The service operates from an office based in Stowmarket, on the outskirts of town, but is easily accessible for those who use our service and staff.
