Branwell Manor provides support to eight people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and challenging behaviour. The people living at the service are aged between 16 and 25 and are making the exciting transition from child to adult services, some leaving home for the first time.

Branwell Manor is a purpose built service located in Dewsbury, a market town in West Yorkshire. The town has shopping and leisure facilities, and Leeds, Bradford and Halifax are all within half an hour’s drive, offering more opportunities for recreational and educational activities.

Everyone is encouraged to take part in a wide range of activities, both within the service and in the wider community.

Branwell Manor has eight spacious bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities which can be adapted to meet individuals’ needs and the option of ceiling tracking if required. We encourage people to make decisions about the décor of their rooms and to bring their own belongings.

The communal areas are finished to a high standard, creating a warm and welcoming environment. The service also has a specially adapted training kitchen where individuals are supported in preparing meals and snacks, building daily living skills.
