    We cater for your needs individually because we recognise that no two individuals are the same. Whether you have autism, mild learning difficulties or some trouble with dealing with your own emotions and your relationships with others, we will design your support with you and those you care about to help you achieve the best. In order to help you we make sure that we have enough staff available at all times. We offer 24 hour support to make sure someone is always there. We also provide one-to-one support where needed. 

    What it's like to live here

    If you are interested in getting involved or just want a quiet and comfortable place to retreat, Vaughan House will help you make it happen. We provide daily workshops which are tailored to help people to become more independent and build their confidence. If you want to do something different we will plan your week with you to incorporate the things you like to do. Some of the people living at Vaughan House go to work during the day or attend College. Some people belong to clubs and like to socialize or go out and dance. Some people just like to spend some quality time with those they care about. At Vaughan house it is important for us to understand you, the way you think and the things you dream of achieving. For this reason our staff is fully trained and provided with specialized training such as Autism, mental Health and Epilepsy so that we can meet your needs fully.

    Surroundings

    We are centrally placed and only a stone throw away from the train station, park, pubs and shopping facilities. It's possible to go to the pub, the park and the gym all in one afternoon if you step it up!If you like to go a bit further afield for some acquired tastes you can visit local National Heritage sites and wildlife parks. For the big days out London is just a hop on the train away. Luton boasts a University and two colleges so plenty of choice!

    Service facilities

    Vaughan House has a pleasant quiet atmosphere. We have a big garden if you like a bit of digging or potting up. The home is spread over four floors, so for the ones that like to expand their horizons, you can see all the way down the road! For those who likes their TV dinners; the lounge, dining room and kitchen is on the bottom floor. We have a laundry room where you can do your washing, or have it done.
