    Overview of service

The Piers is a specialised service for people with physical disabilities and complex needs, the home is looking to specialise in autism and challenging behaviour in the near future. The Piers has three places and is a modern, detached bungalow situated in Ensbury Park, Bournemouth which has been designed to provide level access to all areas, with the exception of the utility room which provides the laundry facilities. There is a private conservatory along with a communal conservatory and good sized garden to the rear of the home.

What it's like to live here

Service users who currently live at the Piers like to help with meal planning, cooking, cleaning, activity planning, socialising and gardening on a regular basis. Some of the people we support go on work placements and particularly enjoy this independence.

    Surroundings

Situated in Ensbury Park, within easy commutable distance of Ashley Road and Tower Park, The Piers is ideally situated to provide a range of activities for its services users.

    Service facilities

We encourage the people we support to personalise their rooms to their own taste as well as to take an active role in the running of the home and to put forward their own ideas at the service user meetings – Your Voice.
