Abbey View is located in a residential area on Newtownards Road in Bangor, close to the historic Bangor Abbey and the citys Victorian Jacobethan town hall. Abbey View can accommodate up to 25 elderly people. All of the single bedrooms feature ensuite facilities. A double ensuite room is also available for couples. Each floor of the home features a sitting room with comfortable furniture. Residents are able to enjoy views over Newtownards Road, which enable them to feel part of the busy community life. The home also has a spacious dining room. The home is situated close to Bangor train station and many bus stops, which provides easy access for visitors. The local shops, churches and a health centre are all within walking distance. Abbey View provides nursing, convalescence, palliative, residential/personal and respite care. The home can also accommodate individuals with physical disabilities.
