Fenney Lodge is a purpose built service offering support to ten younger adults with a learning disability and associated physical disabilities. The whole of the building is designed to be wheelchair accessible.

We want everyone we support to become as independent as possible. We have two bungalows in the grounds of the main service which are ideal for semi-independent living. We promote individual choice and hold regular service meetings. We also involve families in decisions about the service, where appropriate.

Fenney Lodge is in the village of Catcliffe, on the border between Sheffield and Rotherham, with shops and pubs within walking distance and good access to health, leisure and education facilities.

We encourage everyone to experience a wide range of activities. We have good links with people in the local community as well as with specialist services, such as hydrotherapy and sensory facilities.

The main building has eight spacious bedrooms with access to high specification en-suite bathrooms with height adjustable baths (shared by two bedrooms). All bedrooms and bathrooms have ceiling mounted sling hoists with tracking between to provide safe, comfortable and dignified support to those who may require this facility.

On the upper floor, accessible by stairs or lift, accommodation is provided in two smaller flat-style areas designed to allow more independent or private accommodation with full 24-hour support from the staff team. Each flat has two bedrooms with access to en-suite facilities as described above, a living area and a dining kitchen with height adjustable cooking facilities. Also on the upper floor is an activity room with craft and sensory equipment. To the rear of the building there is a garden with a sensory area and a large level patio.
